Megger KC30 Wind Turbine Lightning Protection Kelvin Lead Set (1001-249)

The Megger KC30 Wind Turbine Lightning Protection Kelvin Lead Set contains two test leads designed to carry out testing on wind turbines, both in a production environment and in the field. The first lead is a five-metre test lead that terminates in a duplex handspike. It is intended for testing lightning receptors on the tips of the blades.

The second lead, meanwhile, is 30m in length and is mounted on a useful cable reel with a friction brake that prevents tangling, and terminates in a large Kelvin clip, thus providing the length needed to test wind turbines. Both leads in the Megger KC30 set are rated to 10A and are compatible with any Megger DLRO10 or BT51 micro ohmmeter although the DLRO10HD is recommended for outdoor use.
