Megger MET1000 All in One True RMS Electrical Tester

The Megger MET1000 All in One True RMS Electrical Tester provides electricians and electrical engineers with a multifunctional instrument for both voltage & current testing. This versatile hand-held device with acoustic indicators has detachable test leads, a built in current clamp for AC current measurement up to 200A and tests AC/DC voltage up to 1000V. Robust and with True RMS on ACV/ACA, Phase Rotation, Inrush current & Single Pole test features incorporated, this meter reduces the need for excess equipment in the field. The auto-ranging voltage and continuity tests in addition to the built-in current clamp feature of the MET1000 makes it ideal for use in industrial, commercial & domestic environments.

Brandishing a 39mm jaw width and up to 16mm diameter conductor, the Megger MET1000 Electrical Tester comes with an abundance of impressive features; Continuity to 50K Ohms, Auto Polarity Detection, ELV Indication, Data Hold capability and more. This multifunction tester has a response time less than 0.5s, DCV reading response time less than 0.5s and a peak input current draw of less than 3.5mA at 1000V to avoid unnecessarily tripping RCDs & RCBOs. With Ø2mm & Ø4mm interchangeable tips, the device even continues to measure voltage and warn the operator of potential dangers after the batteries have been exhausted.

The incorporated and comprehensive self-test feature of the ergonomic MET1000 All in One True RMS Electrical Tester is but one of the many design features built to improve functionality and practicality. The large, both LED & LCD screen, with digital 9999 count display and white LED auto back light combines with the LED torch for easy operation within dark workspaces. The IP65 rated housing includes a hand guard, streamline design and simple to use probe mounting on the rear of the tester. Rated CATIV 600V & CATIII 1000V for safety, the MET1000 comes with a carrying holster (with belt loop), red/black probe lead set and GS38 shrouds which are provided to ensure compliance with the latest standards.
