Megger PAT420 Industrial PAT Testing Kit

The Megger PAT420 Industrial PAT Testing Kit is a handy option for those with PAT testing needs in industrial environments such as factories, repair shops and production plants.

The Megger PAT420 PAT Tester is a downloadable instrument with a large memory and a wide range of testing functions for making sure appliances and extension leads are safe to use. These tests include earth bond (200mA, 10A, 25A), insulation (250V/500V), operational VA (load & run), portable RCD testing, differential/substitute/touch earth leakage, and extension lead and power cord testing. An integrated 110V adaptor allows testing of power tools and other construction-related appliances.

The internal memory of the Megger PAT420 has room for up to 10,000 records and this can be exported as Excel documents using the supplied USB cable. Pre-set automatic test sequences are available for Class I appliances, Class II appliances and IEC/extension leads whilst individual trigger buttons enable individual tests to be carried out. The QWERTY keyboard allows the user to enter additional notes with records and the sturdy construction is ideal for challenging industrial environments.

Several different adaptors are provided in the Megger PAT420 Industrial PAT Kit. These include appliance and extension lead adaptors for use with items operating at 230V/16A and 230V/32A and appliances operating at 110V/32A whilst an extension lead adaptor is provided for 110V/16A leads. The integrated 110V socket on the Megger PAT420 is capable of powering 16A appliances. Finally, a set of 415V adaptors allow testing on three-phase equipment found in factories, workshops and other commercial facilities.

In addition to adaptors and the tester, the Megger PAT420 Industrial PAT Kit also includes a Megger PAT400 PAT Label Printer which allows the user to print customised PAT labels with barcodes and appliance information alongside test results. Additionally, the supplied Megger Barcode Scanner allows the user to instantly recall appliance data to the tester’s screen in order to better organise the onboard database.
