Megger TPT420 AC/DC Voltage Tester

The Megger TPT420 Two-Pole Voltage Tester can measure AC voltage between 12 to 1000 V and DC voltage between 12 to 1500 V. Including a continuity function within 0 to 500 kΩ and a frequency range of 40 to 400Hz, this unit will even continue to alert the user of a present voltage after the batteries have been completely exhausted.

Single pole voltage tests can be performed by the TPT420 between 100 to 1000 V AC (50/60 Hz) and continuity tests function with both visual & acoustic indicators. On any circuit protected by an RCD, RCBO and Safety Breaker, while testing between phase and earth the TPT420 operates below the tripping threshold to avoid unintentional disconnection.

Megger MPU690 Proving Unit

The Megger MPU690 Proving Unit acts as a known voltage source – essential for a safe isolation procedure. It transmits a voltage at five steps between 50V and 690V in sequential order before ramping voltage back down. The voltage level is indicated by LEDs on the proving unit and it automatically powers up when a two-pole voltage tester is inserted.
