The Megger VCM80D Digital Voltage Checker for Megger oil test sets up to 80kV is designed to check the accuracy of the user’s Megger oil test set. It checks high voltage outputs from the test set against national standards and displays the detected output on its clear digital screen.

All compatible testers have a pre-configured test sequence to be used with the Megger VCM80D. During calibration, the checker is installed in the oil tester’s testing chamber in place of the test vessel and can then be used to perform a dielectric strength test.

During calibration, the Megger VCM80D will ramp up from 0kV to the oil test set’s maximum test voltage, stopping for 10s each at 10kV steps. It is compatible with the Megger OTS60AF, OTS80AF, OTS60PB, and OTS80PB, and comes supplied with a carry case, instruction card and calibration certificate.
