    Metrel EVSE Test Standard Kit

    The Metrel EVSE Test Standard Kit is a great purchase option for contractors working on electric vehicle charging points. It includes a Metrel A1532 EVSE Adaptor and a Metrel MI3125BT Multifunction Tester.

    The Metrel MI3125BT Multifunction Tester is a useful instrument with multiple tests for electrical installations. It performs automatic R1+R2 earth loop impedance measurements and is also capable of performing insulation testing (100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V), RCD testing (ramp, no-trip), PSC, LE, LN, and earth spike testing (2- or 3-wire).

    The internal memory on the Metrel MI3125BT can store results which can then be downloaded to a computer afterwards for further analysis. Operation is undertaken using a set of clear operational buttons and Bluetooth connectivity allows communication and operation using the Metrel Eurolink Android App.

    The Metrel A1532 EVSE Adaptor effectively allows an MFT to simulate the effect of a vehicle plugged into a charging point. It allows testing on Mode 3 EV supply equipment with type 2 connections without any need to disassemble the charging point. The adaptor can simulate many different charging states with cooled or uncooled charging as well as testing progressive RCDs or B-type RCDs.

     

    In addition to the Metrel MI3125BT and Metrel A1532 EVSE Adaptor, the kit also includes essential testing accessories such as a Eurolink software, a USB cable, a carry case, a mains plug test leads, test robes, crocodile clips and a calibration certificate. The tester is covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Overall this kit constitutes a cost-effective solution to testing requirements when it comes to electric vehicle charging points.
