Metrel MD9225 TRMS 400A AC/DC Clamp Meter

The Metrel MD9225 TRMS 400A AC/DC Clamp Meter is a tool that combines a small form factor with a variety of impressive integrated functions. The 188x63x40mm dimensions enable single-handed operation, while a 26mm jaw opening also make it the ideal instrument for working in small enclosures. Clamp on and full multimeter ranges mean this meter can measure currents up to 400 A AC/DC, in addition to its 600V DC/AC voltage measuring capability.

A diode test and an acoustic continuity test mode are both features that can be found within the MD9225’s array. A relative zero function allows the user to compare the difference between signals or remove background noise. This unit also features built-in transient protection (protecting against lightning strike or switching surge up to 6.5kV) and CAT IV / 300V and CAT III 600V overvoltage protection, providing safety in addition to functionality.

Data is displayed through a large, easy-to-read screen with high resolution (4000 count) to provide fast measurement. Values can be temporarily frozen on screen through the device’s hold function, allowing for later viewing.
