    Metrel MI3290 GX Earth Analyser GX4 Set

    The Metrel MI3290 GX Earth Analyser is a comprehensive earth testing device that can be used to assess earthing facilities on pylons, MV/LV transformers, ski lifts, radio masts, renewable energy installations and industrial complexes.

    The large variety of earth testing methods on the Metrel MI3290 GX is very impressive. It can perform two-, three- or four-pole earth resistance testing and also features the Wenner and Schlumberger methods. Supplied flex and iron clamps allow current measurement and testing of earth resistance on both mono pylons and multi-leg pylons. Notable, the GX4 set has four supplied flex clamps for use on pylons.

    Additionally, the Metrel MI3290 GX is capable of other measurements such as earth potential, low resistance, step and contact measurements, and impulse earth measurements. The large frequency range of 55Hz to 15kHz allows comprehensive testing, either when testing using the pre-selected frequencies or using the whole range in sweep mode. A high-frequency 25kHz pulse can also be used to simulate the effect of a lightning strike.

    Results are shown in either graphical or numerical formats on the Metrel MI3290 GX’s 3.4” colour touchscreen. This is also where the user can see and access the intuitive menus that are used to operate the earth tester although there are also navigation keys available. Single measurements and automatic test sequences are available on the earth tester and it has high immunity for electrical noise.

    The large 1GB internal memory of the Metrel MI3290 GX can save thousands of readings with useful accompanying information. Files can be transferred via a USB cable or wireless Bluetooth connectivity and the earth tester comes supplied with a useful software package that facilitates data transfer, analysis and reporting.

    The Metrel MI3290 GX can run from mains chargers or its own batteries and has an IP54 ingress protection rating when open and an IP65 ingress protection rating when closed. The Metrel MI3290 GX4 Set includes accessories such as iron clamps, a G clamp, a Kelvin clamp, voltmeter, test leads, test probes and much more.

You can even manage your booking online and re-arrange delivery for another date or arrange the goods to be left with a neighbour of your choice.

    We also offer delivery options for goods required urgently on certain products, all which are sent by DPD/Interlink.
