Protimeter Hygromaster 2 and Surveymaster Moisture Meter Kit

The Protimeter Hygromaster 2 and Surveymaster Moisture Meter Kit allows the user to carry out invasive and non-invasive moisture measurement, surface and air temperature testing, and relative humidity measurement. It contains two useful meters from Protimeter alongside a set of useful accessories for different applications.

Protimeter Surveymaster Moisture Meter

Capable of both invasive and non-invasive moisture measurement, the Protimeter Surveymaster Moisture Meter is a useful tester for measuring moisture in wood and other porous building materials. It has twin pin electrodes and a non-destructive signal that can penetrate up to 20mm into the target surface.

Moisture readings are given in terms of a content percentage for wood species and WME equivalent for other building materials. This is shown on the meter’s clear digital screen and there is also a set of LEDs that have a ‘traffic-light’ style warning system for indicating the status of the target material.

Protimeter Hygromaster 2 Thermohygrometer

The Protimeter Hygromaster 2 Thermohygrometer has an air temperature measurement range of 0˚C to 50˚C and a humidity range of 1% to 100%. This allows dew point to be calculated and surface temperatures can also be measured with the instrument thanks to an infrared, non-contact sensor that has a measurement range -20˚C to 80˚C.

The Protimeter Hygromaster 2 has a clear digital screen and can express humidity as relative humidity or equilibrium relative humidity. The onboard memory has enough room for up to 8000 measurements with an accompanying time-and-date stamp.

Other Accessories

The kit comes supplied with a range of accessories designed to make the most of the Protimeter Surveymaster and Hygromaster 2. These include standard and deep wall moisture probes, electrode pins, carry pouches and a moisture probe calcheck device.
