  1. Isa DRTS 6 Three-Phase Relay Test Set (Hire Only)

    Features:

    • Tests all relay types and generations
    • Protection testing on electromechanical relays
    • High versatility, amplitude & power
    • Suitable for multiple sectors
    • Performs wiring & plausibility checking
    • Three-phase tests on high-burden relays

The Omicron CMC 356 Three-Phase Relay Test Set is the ideal instrument set for testing relays, no matter their age or type. The six current sources (64A / 860VA) offer excellent possibilities for testing high-burden electromechanical relay sets whilst there are also four voltage outputs up to 300V and a DC supply. Analogue test signals are generated using digital DSP technology so testing signals remain accurate even at small amplitudes.

The instrument is ideal for use across substations, power generation, transmission, and railways. It is suitable for low, medium and high voltages. Its impressive capabilities mean it is suited for applications with 5A CTs and tests with a high power demand. Another useful function is the ability to perform wiring and plausibility checks of current transformers by primary injection of high currents from the test set. The set also has a USB input for connection with a PC from where the instrument can be remotely controlled.

  3. SMC PTE 300V G59 Relay Test Set (Hire Only)

    Features:

    • Single-phase & interconnection relay testing
    • Meets G59 regulation
    • Tests National Grid generators
    • Three-phase relay testing (with current injector)
    • Reversible outputs
    • 300V max. output

The SMC PTE 300V G59 Relay Test Set meets the G59 standard for testing generators that are connected to the National Grid, thus helping prevent electricity being sent into the Grid dangerously. Wind turbines and CHP plants are common installations requiring G59 generator testing. The test set has a maximum voltage output of 300V and is suitable for single-phase relay testing as well as interconnecting relay testing thanks to its reversible outputs. The instrument is capable of three-phase testing but only when used in conjunction with a separate single phase current injection unit.
