Socket & See RCD PRO Professional RCD Tester

The Socket & See RCD PRO Professional RCD Tester is capable of testing a number of different RCD types include AC, ACS, and A-type RCDs. It has a 30mA auto test for A- and AC-type RCDs that conducts x½, x1 and x5 tests at 0˚ and 180˚. It is also possible to conduct manual RCD testing with a selectable test current (30mA, 100mA, 300mA, 500mA) and full rotation from 0˚ to 180˚ whilst a ramp test can also be carried out. The tester has a trip time range of 5ms to 1999ms with accuracy of ±(1% + 1ms).

A number of practical features are available on the Socket & See RCD PRO. The tester will detect polarity and mains voltage in the mains supply and, when conditions are suitable for the test, the ‘volts present’ LED will shine green to indicate that the test can be carried out. Manual testing can be controlled using the simple rotary dial and results can be viewed on the clear digital screen using the recall button.

The Socket & See RCD PRO has a polarity test pad that will detect reverse-wired sockets that can be missed by a standard socket tester. It has an overvoltage category of Cat III 300V and a 50-hour battery life. It comes supplied with batteries, a magnetic hanging strap and a carry case.
