    Sofamel SGM Dielectric Composite Gloves

    The Sofamel SGM Dielectric Composite Gloves provide an unparalleled safety solution, shielding the wearer from adverse environments and reducing the need for additional and obtrusive PPE. Rigorously tested, they are extremely resistant to acid, oil, ozone, very low temperatures and hazardous currents (up to 17.000V AC). In the undesirable event of a short circuit, the SGM composite offer indispensable Arc Flash protection.

    Combining mechanical resistance and comfort with a terrific level of user safety, the Sofamel SGM Gloves unique formulation rubber enables extreme flexibility for increased functionality. With a black inner lining and outer red colour, this desirable safety gear is certified according to the standard IEC 60903:2014. Choose between two comfortable sizes and four separate categories, with each category tier indicating an increased AC current handling capacity (see specifications for details).

    Mechanical and Thermal Requirements

    • Average tensile strength: ≥16 MPa
    • Average elongation at break: ≥600%
    • Puncture resistant: >18N/mm

    Complementary Test and Performance levels to be achieved are as follows:

    • Resistance to cutting: > 2.5 N (equivalent to level 2 according to EN 388)
    • Resistance to abrasion: ≥ 0,05 mg/t
    • Tearing resistance to: > 25 N (equivalent to level 2 according to EN 388)
    • Resistance to penetration: > 60 N (equivalent to level 2 according to EN 388)
    • Resistance to low temperature: conditioning of gloves for 1hr at -25 ±3˚C
    • Flame-retardant test: Application of a flame for 10secs at a finger tip

    At Test-Meter.co.uk we understand the importance of a reliable delivery service when shopping online. Especially when the goods are often essential to your working day.     We use DPD/Interlink for all larger items and Royal Mail for smaller items and accessories. With DPD/Interlink you will receive a 1 hour delivery window on the day of delivery via e-mail/text and a notification 15 minutes before arrival so you will not have to wait around all day. You can even manage your booking online and re-arrange delivery for another date or arrange the goods to be left with a neighbour of your choice.

    We also offer delivery options for goods required urgently on certain products, all which are sent by DPD/Interlink.
