SoundTEK ST-107S Class 2 Integrating Sound Level Meter
The SoundTEK ST-107S Class 2 Integrating Sound Level Meter is part of SoundTEK’s impressive range of sound measurement and analysis devices. Accurate to IEC 61672-1 2002 Class 2 requirements, the ST-107S has A/C/Z frequency weighting which helps the user identify sources of noise in the work place. Measuring ambient noise levels helps employers meet government requirements on noise pollution at work and the device can also be used to evaluate the noise produced by products.
Like other meters in the range, the ST-107S has an extremely wide range of measurement (30dB ~ 130dB) and frequency (31.5Hz ~ 8KHz) throughout a 100dB dynamic range making it suitable for assessing noise in diverse environments. Adjustments can be made so that measurements are taken in intervals ranging from every 10 seconds to every 24 hours making the ST-107S suitable for a whole range of tasks.
The ST-107S is easy to use with a micro-USB port and USB/micro-USB cables to transfer data to other storage. Moreover, the device has a micro-SD card slot and can store up 37,000 records in internal memory. Its backlit LCD screen displays figures digitally or in the form of a bar graph so it is clear and concise during use. The 30 hour battery life and accompanying SoundTEK carry case allow it to be easily carried around large sites so it is a very practical measuring instrument to have in your arsenal.
