Testo 104 Folding Thermometer

The Testo 104 Folding Thermometer can measure temperature in foods and liquids from -50˚C to 250˚C via its NTC sensor which is built into the thermometer’s 32mm probe tip. Readings are accurate to ±1% and precise to 0.1˚C which means the thermometer is suitable for a range of applications in the food industry such as checking the core temperature of cooked food and making sure refrigeration units are functioning correctly.

As a fully waterproof instrument, the Testo 104 is extremely useful as it can be cleaned under running water and used in any conditions. Moreover, the measuring tip is only 2.3mm in diameter and therefore leaves very little mark on the food under test. It can also fold away so the whole unit fits easily into the user’s top pocket whilst a non-slip rubber handle makes it easier to use when wet.

Min/max readings can be shown on the Testo 104’s backlit screen and it has an auto hold function that keeps the stable final value on screen. The battery lasts for roughly 100 hours and the thermometer has an IP65 ingress protection rating. The instrument is supplied with accessories including a user guide, calibration protocol, adhesive colour strips and batteries.
