The Testo 317-2 Gas Leak Detector is fast and easy to use with a visual bar display that shows methane and propane concentration clearly and simply. The sensor self tests when the device is turned on and there is audible confirmation that the device is good to go. The alarm noise volume goes up as gas concentration increases and the Testo 317-2 emits a continuous audible noise if the alarm threshold is exceeded. Battery levels are shown visibly on screen so the user is not caught out by low battery. The measurement range goes from 0 to 20,000ppm CH4 and 0 to 10,000ppm C3H8 with the alarm set at 10,000ppm for the former and 5,000ppm for the latter. Weighing less than 300g and with a 4h battery life, theTesto 317-2 is a practical gas leak detector which improves safety with its clear display and clear alarms.
