Testo 440 Multifunction Climate Meter

The Testo 440 Multifunction Climate Meter measures a range of different environmental parameters including air temperature, carbon monoxide concentration, humidity, carbon dioxide level, air flow speed, and light intensity. The meter’s performance depends on the attached probes but all parameters are measured to a high degree of accuracy and precision.

The meter is capable of connecting to both wireless and conventional probes, including Testo Smart Probes via Bluetooth. A universal Testo connection for all wired probes saves both space and time as it negates the need for adaptors and means that the probes can be interchanged very swiftly. There is also a type K connection for thermocouples.

Up to three readings can be shown simultaneously on the Testo 440’s digital colour display and it is easy to operate the meter via the intuitive navigational menus. There are specific options for making further calculations such as producing values for volume flow, K factor, turbulence, cooling/heating load, and mould indication.

There is a useful datalogging mode which takes advantage of the Testo 440’s 7500-reading internal memory. Readings are saved into a useful organised database and can be downloaded in Excel format to a PC via the USB interface or printed directly with an on-site printer.

The Testo 440 has a compact, ergonomic design which fits easily into the palm of a hand. The battery lasts for roughly 12 hours (dependent on probe) and supplied accessories include a set of batteries, USB cable and calibration protocol.
