Testo 606-1 Pocket Moisture Meter

The Testo 606-1 Pocket Moisture Meter measures moisture content in woods and building materials as a percentage of dry weight with an accuracy of ±1% and a resolution of 0.1%. The meter uses two ram electrodes to penetrate various wood species or building materials including cement screed, concrete, plaster, mortar and brickwork. A range of characteristic curves for different woods and building materials allow the user to get accurate readings despite performing assessments on different types of surface.

An illuminated digital display allows the Testo 606-1 to be used in all lighting conditions and it has a display hold function so the user can keep a reading on screen once contact with the material is removed. The meter comes supplied with a protective cap, a belt bag and a hand strap so it is easy to carry and use, especially as it also has a 200-hour battery life.
