The well-built, sophisticated Testo 750-2 Voltage Tester is a handy device from Testo that can perform voltage and continuity testing as well as measuring rotating magnetic field and testing for single pole voltage. The voltage range for standard testing goes from 12 to 690V AC/DC whilst a range of 100 to 690V AC at 50/60Hz applies to single pole phase testing. Continuity test range goes up to 500kΩ maximum and rotating magnetic field testing goes from 100 to 690V at 50/60Hz which makes it suitable for low voltage circuits.

From a practical viewpoint, the user benefits from a torch to illuminate the measuring point which is especially handy in dark wiring cabinets. An RCD trigger function helps prevent injury whilst the device is rated as category IV for safety according to the latest European standard (EN 61243-3:2010). The load buttons vibrate to make sure that trigger tests cannot be made accidentally.
