Testo 871s Thermal Imaging Camera

The Testo 871s Thermal Imaging Camera has excellent thermal resolution of 240 x 180 pixels thanks to its advanced IR thermal sensor. Thermal sensitivity of 80mK means that temperature differences of just 0.09˚C can be viewed on screen whilst the temperature measurement range stretches from -30˚C to 650˚C.

A wide field of view (35˚ x 26˚) allows the Testo 871s to look over large areas very quickly and the image on the colour screen is made clearer by automatic ScaleAssist range adjustment and ε-Assist emissivity adjustment. Four different colour palettes provide flexibility for the user and the camera automatically highlights hot and cold spots to give an immediate indication of the distribution of temperature extremes.

Images and video can be saved to the Testo 871s' 2.8GB internal memory and transferred to a PC, tablet or smartphone using a USB cable or the camera’s built-in WLAN module. Smart devices must have the Testo Thermography App (for Android or iOS) installed to communicate with the camera. The app also enables the smartphone/tablet screen to act as a remote screen and opens up further analysis and reporting possibilities. Testo SuperResolution software can even artificially increase resolution to 480 x 360 pixels.

A built-in digital camera takes visual images and video to go alongside thermal images and video when the user comes to analyse his/her results, whether this is on a smart device, PC or the Testo 871 itself. The camera can also work with the Testo 770-3 Clamp Meter and 605i Thermohygrometer to add quantitive information to images via wireless Bluetooth communication, thus enabling more accurate inspections.

The Testo 871s' IP54-rated casing, sturdy design and four-hour battery life mean that it is suitable for use outdoors. A charger is included with the camera alongside a USB cable, ε-markers, a calibration certificate and a case. The manufacturer’s warranty lasts for two years.

In the latest ’s’ model, you will find an improved thermal sensitivity (90mK vs 80mK) and better user interface for a superior user experience. In addition to this, the visual camera megapixel count has increased from 3.1MP to 5.0MP, delivering clearer imagery.
