Tramex Hygrohood Flooring Hygrometer HYGH-MM

The Tramex Hygrohood Flooring Hygrometer is capable of measuring temperature from 0˚C to 50˚C and humidity from 20% to 99% RH. Temperature readings are accurate to ±1˚C whilst humidity readings are accurate to ±3%. It is designed to be used for non-destructive relative humidity testing of concrete flooring or screed. This is particularly useful for corroborating the results of inspections carried out with the Tramex CME4 or CMEX2 Moisture Meter which check whether flooring is dry enough to install resilient floor covering. These requirements are set out in British codes of practice including BS8201, BS8203, and BS5325 and US standard ASTM F2420.

Readings are shown on the Tramex Hygrohood’s clear digital display in both Celsius and Fahrenheit and it is capable of recording minimum and maximum values as long as it stays switched on. It must be attached to flooring with butyl tape to seal the Hygrohood correctly. It is important to correctly prepare the area by turning off heating and dehumidifying systems well before taking measurements as well as sweeping the floor before applying the Hygrohood.
