The Elcomponent SPC PRO 2 3 Phase Data Logger is a compact 3-phase logging solution designed to make electrical surveys quicker, safer and easier to carry out. Elcomponent describes it as its best ever 3-phase data logger, building on the original SPC Pro with improved performance and added features for practical day-to-day survey work.

A key benefit of the SPC PRO 2 is its well-proven “3 currents, 1 voltage” connection method. The logger uses three current inputs and only needs a standard 13A wall socket for its voltage reference, helping simplify installation and reduce the complexity of setup. Current measurement is taken using fully isolated flexible hoop CTs, which Elcomponent says makes the unit safer and easier to use, even for operators without detailed electrical systems knowledge.

The SPC PRO 2 is also designed for practical long-term logging. It offers almost four times the memory of its predecessor, supports surveys of up to 10 weeks at 30-second storage, and allows USB flash drive download directly from the logger without needing a laptop on site. For no-voltage surveys, the internal battery provides approximately 3 weeks logging when fully charged, with even longer operation possible using the optional external battery pack.
