FLIR VS70-KIT Articulating Pro Borescope Kit

The FLIR VS70-KIT Articulating Pro Borescope Kit contains a high-resolution monitor unit, a semi-rigid general purpose probe and an articulating camera probe designed to look inside normally inaccessible spaces such as within wall cavities, under flooring and behind panelling.

The FLIR VS70 Borescope monitor unit has a 640 x 480 pixel display which can show colour images from the attached camera probe. The user can control the field of view and other factors using the unit’s intuitive push button interface. The IP67 ingress protection rating provided by the double-moulded rubber casing means that the unit is resistant to water and dust and it is also capable of withstanding a 2m drop. Video and images can be saved thanks to the FLIR VS70’s SD card compatibility. It is possible to add voice annotations during video recording, thereby saving real-time observations alongside images from inspections. Data can then be transferred via the USB port and this is also used for charging the monitor.

The FLIR VSA2-1 camera probe is a two-way articulating probe which allows the user to swivel the head inside the target zone to see beyond the standard 56˚ field of vision. Articulation is controlled by the dial on the handset and the long-focus lens enables the camera to focus on objects over 65mm away. The final major component of the FLIR VS70-KIT is the general purpose FLIR VSC60-1R probe. This camera probe also has a 1m semi-rigid cable and a long lens allowing it to focus on objects over 65mm from the ø8mm head. Other accessories include a 4GB SD card, USB and video cables, power adaptors, vehicle charger, audio headset, shoulder strap, cleaning kit and hard carry case.
