Fluke 773 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter

The Fluke 773 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter measures 4-20mA signals five times faster than the standard multimeter, with this accurate, versatile and highly portable instrument able to measure without breaking the loop. The 773 is the ideal tool for troubleshooting transmitters and valves, aswell as programmable logic controllers, with an in-built capability to measure these areas without stopping production.

Industry professionals can connect the 773 to a mA loop to measure, source, or simulate a control system, and can also measure up to 99.0mA non-contact, which includes 10 to 50mA signals in older control systems. The user can also detach the clamp section of a meter, and then connect it to the an extension cable, allowing for easier measurements in difficult environments.

The 773 includes an in-built measurement spotlight which allows for the illumination of wires in dark environments, whilst the dual backlit display can also be easily viewed. It displays mA measurement and percent of 4 to 20mA span, both at the same time, and has the ability to automatically power-off when not in use.

The 773 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter also includes the in-built ability to simultaneously measure mA in circuit, with 24V loop power. It can also be used to measure its 4-20mA output on devices wich as valves or mA isolators.

Fluke part number: FLUKE-773

Key Features

  • DC voltage measurement to verify 24V power supplies or voltage 1/0 signals
  • Source DC voltage to test input devices that accept a 1 to 5 volt or 0 to 10 volt signal
  • Output mA signal enables a logging DMM (289) or other device to record the 4 to 20mA siganl without breaking the loop
  • Apply a mA input signal to a device and measure its' 4 to 20mA output on devices such as valves or mA isolators
  • Automatically change the voltage output for remote testing
