Metrel MD9050 True RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter

The Metrel MD9050 True RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter can measure electrical parameters including AC/DC voltage (60.00mV to 999.9V), AC/DC current (600.0µA to 10.00A), resistance (600.0Ω to 60.00MΩ), conductance (0nS to 99.99nS), mains frequency (15.00Hz to 50.00kHz), digital equipment frequency (5.00Hz to 1.000MHz), capacitance (60.00nF to 25.00mF) and temperature (-50˚C to 1000˚C). Readings are highly accurate and the autoranging feature means that resolution is always maximised. A diode and continuity testing feature are both available.

Readings are shown on the Metrel MD9050’s clear digital screen and the measurement function is selected using a simple dial. Advanced recording features such as relative zero, min/max/avg recording, display hold and peak hold are all available. Temperature can be measured via two channels with differential readings available and AC values benefit from true RMS for greater accuracy. The multimeter’s autocheck function automatically detects AC/DC voltage or resistance whilst non-contact voltage detection helps prevent accidental connections to live conductors.

The Metrel MD9050 supports data download from to a PC with optional software and it has applications in heavy duty industrial testing, high-level electronic fault finding, field servicing and heavy-duty electrical testing. It has an overvoltage rating of Cat IV 1000V and comes supplied with test leads and a type K thermocouple.
