Sauermann Si-RV4 Wireless Vacuum Probe

The Sauermann Si-RV4 Wireless Vacuum Probe is designed to ensure safety and efficiency when servicing high- and low-pressure systems in air-conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump installations. This allows technicians to verify complete system evaluation before charging refrigerants and therefore prevent future system failures while ensuring great performance.

Equipped with a highly sensitive and accurate Pirani® sensor, the Si-RV4 delivers measurements down to a deep vacuum of 50 microns. This allows technicians to verify complete evacuation and system integrity with confidence. The Si-RV4 is compatible with A1, A2L, A2, and A3 refrigerants, along with selected B1 refrigerants. However, it must not be used with ammoniac refrigerant (NH₃ / R717).

Housed in polyamide that is reinforced with 30% glass fibre and TPE, the Si-RV4 is built to last in demanding HVACR environments, providing a lightweight construction that weighs only 200 g (0.44 lb). It is IP54 rated, ensuring protection against dust and rain, and features an easy-to-use single on/off button for easy operation.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries, the Si-RV4 delivers up to 150 hours of continuous use at 20°C (68°F), minimising downtime and frequent battery changes during extended service calls. Featuring an automatic wireless pairing at a range of up to 100 m (328 ft), it connects directly to Sauermann’s Si-RM350 and Si-RM450 manifolds and integrates seamlessly with the Sauermann Pilot mobile application.

Through the Pilot app, available on both iOS and Android, technicians can:

  • Monitor real-time readings directly on their smartphone or tablet.
  • Record, create, and sign detailed service reports.
  • Export results in PDF or CSV formats for easy sharing and archiving.
  • Enhance workflow with photo integration and customer database management.
