Extech SL510 Sound Level Meter

The Extech SL510 Sound Level Meter is a high accuracy device that meets Class 2 standards according to IEC 61672-2013 and ANSI/ASA S1.4 Part 1. It is capable of measuring sound levels between 35dB and 130dB with a basic accuracy of ±1dB and a resolution of 0.1dB. It has ‘A’ and ‘C’ frequency weighting as well as fast and slow response modes. Measurements are taken via a 0.5” electret condenser.

Readings are showing on the Extech SL510’s backlit LCD screen alongside other information about the measurement. It has applications in sound checking, insulation checking, concerts, workplace noise and much more. It is operated using simple push buttons and comes supplied with a wind muffler, wrist strap and batteries. The sound level meter is covered by a one-year warranty.
