The FLIR MR265 Moisture Meter and Thermal Imager with MSX is an accomplished all-in-one instrument built to help facility and building maintenance professionals investigate issues related to moisture, air leaks, and insulation voids. Part of the FLIR MR Series of moisture meters, this is an affordable option for inspectors in need of similar features as the MR277 but who do not need environmental measurements such as temperature & humidity or wireless connectivity. The MR265 includes an IR resolution of 160 x 120 (19,200 pixels), a built-in thermal camera, field of view (FOV) of 57° × 44°, sensitivity up to 150 mK and an object temperature range of 0°C to 100°C.

Combining pin (quantitive) and pinless (qualitative) moisture measurements, the MR265 is designed to show you precisely where to investigate. The electromagnetic capacitive pinless moisture sensor takes non-destructive quantitive measurements without having to open the wall, whilst the quantifiable moisture measurements are captured via the included pin probe resistive sensor. Carry fewer tools thanks to this versatile unit which fully complies with RESNET standards.

Featuring IGM (Infrared Guided Measurement) and MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) enhancement technology, the MR265 rapidly targets and scans problem areas. FLIR IGM will guide users to the problematic spot in question for measurements, readings and further analysis. The impressive FLIR MSX feature then takes over, embossing visual detail from the built-in 2MP visual camera over the captured thermal images. Producing a crisp, clear picture with greater edge and outline detail, MSX eliminates unnecessary guesswork while IGM allows operators to ensure the problem has been fixed. With five thermal image palettes to choose from, 3 pre-set and 1 custom emissivity setting, the FLIR MR265 can create a single file documenting comprehensive thermal and visual imagery including moisture reading and laser location.

Conveniently evaluate issues while still in the field thanks to the FLIR MR265's large, vivid 2.8-inch display, just one of several highly useful built-in features. Continue work even in dimly lit areas with the incorporated bright work light and integrated laser pointer. An internal 8 GB memory can store up to 15,000 visual and radiometric jpg files, while the rechargeable battery can last up to 10 hours. A programmable auto-off is also available, with settings for 5, 10, 20 and 30 minutes. With 22 language options and a rugged outer shell built to withstand up to a 2m drop, the MR265 is covered by FLIR's limited 10-year warranty. A variety of optional compatible probe accessories are available for increased instrument flexibility.
