Radiodetection LMX100 Portable Ground Penetrating Radar System

The Radiodetection LMX100 Portable Ground Penetrating Radar System offers an incredible balance of extremely high resolution and depth penetration up to 8m/26 ft. Providing a complex picture of an underground infrastructure, the simple and easy to use incorporated interface is ideal for accurately locating buried assets. The built-in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is designed to optimise discovering buried utilities, it consists of a patented ultra-wideband (UWB) 250 MHz GPR antenna and dynamic target enhancement (DynaT). With zero complex systems to master, simply press start and push the cart while the hyperbola-fitting ensures accurate measurements displaying both location and depth.

Other advanced features presented with the Portable LMX100 GPR System include Dynamic Stacking (DynaQ) which automatically adjusts stacking (averaging) based on your survey speed, ensuring better data quality. Enhance small, medium and large targets with DynaT whilst a preset filter and adjustable gain optimise the visibility of your targets. The LMX100 has the notable advantage of being able to detect:

  • Metal utilities including pipes and cables
  • Non-metallic pipes such as PVC and asbestos cement
  • Concrete storm and sewer systems
  • Utilities with broken or failed tracer wires
  • Trenches and disturbed soil often associated with utility burial
  • Unexpected obstacles or buried structures such as old foundations
  • Underground storage tanks, drainage tiles and other septic system components
  • Non-utility structures such as vaults, foundation walls or concrete pads
  • Undocumented utilities

With Wi-Fi built-in, the Radiodetection LMX100 can utilise it's Screenshot Gallery to create instant on-site reports viewable on the display unit. Share these reports with customers over Wi-Fi with an option to add data markers which will highlight key points of interest. All screenshots are geo-tagged and exported in a KMZ file, suitable for archiving and easily displayed in Google Earth. The high visibility touch screen works even when wearing gloves and boasts user selectable languages, resistive screen protection and metric or US standard unit options. A USB port allows for an alternative method of transferring data and the lead acid gel battery is both long lasting & completely swappable. The lightweight build of the LMX100 makes transportation easy and the lack of metal parts guarantees no interference with any GPR signals. This rugged, all-terrain fibreglass unit has an integrated odometer and is supplied with free system software updates covering it's entire lifespan.
