The Rigel Safetest 60+ Electrical Safety Analyser for Medical Devices is an ideal instrument for ensuring the compliance of medical and laboratory equipment that does not require patient lead testing. Examples include hoists, ventilators, nebulisers, syringe drivers and much more.

The Rigel SafeTest 60+ tests a wide range of electrical variables, including current leakage, earth bond, touch bond, mains voltage, load current, point-to-point, and touch voltage as well as performing insulation testing. The high current and low energy bond testing guarantees accuracy and precision whilst still testing at 200mA. It has been specifically designed for the medical and scientific research sectors and can test to all pertinent international standards, including leakage testing to: IEC 60601, 62353, 61010 and NFPA-99, earth bond testing to 62353, 61010 and NFPA-99, and insulation testing to IEC 62353.

The test process has been made very simple thanks to automatic mains configuration verification and a one-button-one-function interface so even a novice can use the tester with confidence. The user can manually set fault conditions on the Rigel SafeTest 60+, thereby saving time and performing only the tests required.

A step-through guide for each test routine helps eliminate errors, and operation is conducted with the aid of an extremely clear colour screen. The screen displays test results as well as the Rigel SafeTest 60+’s intuitive menus.

Aside from comprehensive testing functions and an intuitive interface, the Rigel SafeTest 60+ is a compact, lightweight instrument. It can easily be transported thanks to an included carry case which has space for the tester itself and all accessories, including a bond test probe, detachable mains cable and calibration certificate. A 2-year warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
