BAUR KSG200A HV / LV Cable Identifier – Battery Powered (for de-energised cables only)

The BAUR KSG200A HV/LV Cable Identifier is an extremely accurate and powerful cable identification system which is able to identify both single and multi-core cables, that are in a cable bundle or loom. The KSG200A heavily reduces the risk of miscutting or damaging a live cable, which could cause supply failures and unplanned downtime. The system comprises of both a transmitter and receiver, with intelligent electronics ensuring that there is clear communication between both of the instruments.

The KSG200A offers both intuitive and user-friendly operation, with an ability to be used without extensive training. The KSG200A is battery-operated, which differs from the KSG200, which is mains-operated. It is supplied with a convenient and ergonomic transport case, which ensures safe transportation and peace of mind over all parts of the instrument. The user can be sure that they will receive industry standard results and testing, with IP40 protection ensuring that their tool is safe.

With the KSG200A being a battery-operated instrument, as opposed to the mains-powered KSG200 and KSG200T, it has a rechargeable 12V NiMH rechargeable battery, meaning more convenient usage in a variety of environments, which are not limited by mains coverage. The KSG200A is for use on de-energised cables only, with the KSG200TA able to be used on live ones. See the comparison table below for more information on the key differences between the two models.
