A new addition to an impressive line-up of low resistance ohmmeters, the Megger DLRO100 series is comprised of three instruments; each model available as a mains powered unit or as a battery/mains powered unit.
The most advanced model is capable of remote operation, asset tagging, communicating wirelessly using Bluetooth and is also DualGround compatible for additional safety. These features coupled with a CAT IV 600VAC/500VDC safety rating and IP54 protection against dust and water ingress position the DLRO100 as a stalwart benchmark for any opposition in the market.
All of the models include intelligent electronics that are able to filter out electrical ‘noise’ when recording a measurement. Ultimately, these instruments can be used in conventionally ‘noisy’ environments such as power plants and distribution network substations in order to provide very accurate and stable results, even at very low resistances.
The Li-ion battery powered models are capable of powering up to 200 manual 100A tests, or two 10 minute continuous 100A tests from a single charge. A single, full charge takes a maximum of 2.5 hours, enhancing high current testing productivity even in remote locations.
