Kewtech SMARTPAT PAT Tester

The Kewtech SMARTPAT PAT Tester is a battery-powered instrument that can perform load and run testing of 110V and 230V appliances in addition to portable RCD testing and regular PAT testing functions such as insulation resistance testing, earth bond continuity testing, substitute leakage measurement and polarity checking. This advanced functionality is unique in a battery-powered tester.

Load and run testing is usually performed on handheld appliances as it allows the user to check both earth leakage current and the total current drawn from the socket against safety guidelines. The Kewtech SMARTPAT’s no-trip PRCD test is compatible with both 10mA and 30mA devices whilst the insulation resistance test can be performed on surge-protected extension leads thanks to a lower 250V test voltage. The 200mA continuity test can also be extended to 5 seconds if required.

Individual buttons for Class I appliances, Class II appliances and extension leads trigger an automatic PAT test sequence which carries out all necessary tests. Custom automatic test sequences can be created by the user on the KEWPAT App (soon to be available for free on Android) and then uploaded to the Kewtech SMARTPAT which can also be controlled remotely from the app. The clear LCD screen displays digital readings and also glows red or green to indicate a test pass or fail.

Supplied accessories with the Kewtech SMARTPAT includes an extension lead adaptor, earth bond test lead, carry case, crocodile clip and mains lead. Approximately 1400 test sequences can be performed on one charge of the battery and the compact size of the PAT tester is ideal for storage and transport.
