Testo 184-H1 Freight Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

The Testo 184-H1 Freight Temperature and Humidity Data Logger is designed to be included with food and drug shipments that are sensitive to temperature and humidity in order to prove that their environment has been controlled throughout transit. The internal Pt100 temperature sensor measures from -20˚C to 70˚C with ±0.5˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution whilst the humidity sensor measures between 0 and 100% RH. The measurement rate can be set at various frequencies between once-per-minute and once-per-day.

A reading can be shown on the Testo 184-H1’s digital screen so that the current temperature and humidity can be checked during transit and it also boasts an LED warning and on-screen notification for when user-adjustable temperature limits are breeched. Such instances are also recorded in the internal memory. The user can set cumulative alarms and even alarms based on mean kinetic temperature (MKT) which gives an assessment of temperature fluctuations on cargo.

The Testo 184-H1 has a large internal memory which has space for 64,000 readings and is therefore suitable for monitoring throughout long transits. The 500-day battery life means that the monitor can operate without external input and the battery is replaceable so the monitor can be used indefinitely.

Reports can be downloaded using the USB connection which has a useful cap to protect it when not in use. The Testo 184-H1 is configured using a simple PDF form contained within the memory and the reports are all available in a simple PDF format. No additional software is required and operation is extremely simple. The monitor complies with various standards including HACCP regulations.
