Megger MFT-X0 Multifunction Tester

The Megger MFT-X0 Multifunction Tester combines insulation, continuity, loop impedance and RCD testing in a portable instrument for electricians in the UK and Ireland. Suitable for commissioning, periodic inspection and fault finding across domestic, commercial and industrial installations, it combines essential electrical testing with intuitive controls and Bluetooth result transfer.

Take the Uncertainty Out of Loop Testing

Megger’s True Loop technology and patented Confidence Meter help deliver stable, repeatable loop impedance readings, even on electrically noisy circuits. The Confidence Meter shows measurement progress and indicates interference, helping you identify when a reliable result has been reached. Two-wire and three-wire non-trip testing provide flexible connection options, with tests taking around seven seconds on quiet circuits.

Cover Your Everyday Installation Tests

The MFT-X0 provides insulation testing at 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V, alongside continuity testing with selectable 200mA and 10mA currents. RCD testing includes Type AC, A and B devices, with automatic sequences and ramp testing to streamline everyday checks. Voltage, frequency and phase-sequence measurements complete its core capabilities for domestic, commercial and three-phase electrical work.

Clear Results and Simple Controls

A 480 x 272 full-colour TFT display clearly presents results, test settings and graphical connection guidance, while colour-coded rotary controls make function selection straightforward. A black-on-white display mode improves visibility in difficult lighting, while the IP54-rated housing provides protection against dust and splashes. The quick-release battery system also makes changing power modules simple.

Move from Testing to Reporting

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows readings to be transferred to Megger CertSuite Installation on a compatible mobile device, helping reduce manual data entry. CertSuite provides cloud-based records and professional electrical certificates, with offline working available through the app. Firmware can also be updated via microSD card. CertSuite Installation requires a separate subscription following its trial period.
