The Baur BUKCI-3 Live LV Cable Identifier detects live low-voltage (LV) cables and phases, allowing operators to quickly confirm the correct cable, check phase rotation, and verify connections while the system is on; helping reduce downtime and eliminate the need for disruptive power interruptions.

With its versatile design, the BUKCI-3 can be connected to single-phase, two-phase, or three-phase systems at voltages of 115 V, 230 V, or 400 V. Once connected, the transmitter automatically configures to the appropriate power level, such as at the link-box, phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral, and then introduces a complex signal into the cable. The handheld receiver then detects and analyses this signal upstream, providing operators with clear results. In three-phase mode, the receiver indicates a straightforward “yes/no” indication, whereas in single- or two-phase mode, it displays relative signal strength to guide precise cable identification.

The BUKCI-3 system is easy to use with a single-button control along with visual and audible signals that make interpretation fast and intuitive. It also has LEDs that display supply voltage and phase rotation, which improves clarity during testing.
