BAUR Frida VLF Test Set – 26KV RMS / 36KV Peak

The BAUR Frida VLF Test Set is used for cable testing and cable sheath testing, with a maximum test voltage of 26kVrms. The FRIDA is an extremely low frequency tester which has been expertly designed to verify the condition of medium-voltage cables and electrical equipment such as generators and transformers, up to 20kV. VLF testing allows the user to locate insulation faults in plastic and paper-insulated mass-impregnated cables, in quickfire fashion, without impacting the quality of the surround insulating material.

The BAUR Frida VLF Test Set also features truesinus testing technology, which offers a load-independent, reproducible sinusoidal high voltage. This enables the Frida to store voltage tests, as well as accurate dissipation factor and partial discharge measurements, which are then able to be repeated and compared. The Frida also has VLF square wave voltage and DC voltage capabilities, making it a versatile tool for industry professionals to complete the testing they desire.
