The BAUR Protrac Complete Tracing Set is a state-of-the-art system expertly crafted for precise fault location and cable route tracking. At the heart of this cutting-edge system lies the CU Control Unit, delivering an intuitive and user-friendly experience through auditory and visual guidance, ensuring accurate fault location and seamless cable route tracing. With 3D operating guidance, pinpointing faults is now more precise than ever. The CU Control Unit offers flexibility by functioning with or without headphones, featuring an integrated loudspeaker for added convenience. When used with headphones, the sound levels are capped at 85 dB(A), aligning with safety regulations such as EC directive 2003/10/EC, ISO 1999:1990, and OSHA 1910.95(c)(1), thereby ensuring compliance with workplace noise exposure standards and prioritizing user safety without compromising fault location functionality.

The AFP Audio Frequency Probe

The AFP Audio Frequency Probe, when used alongside the Control Unit and an audio frequency transmitter, serves the purpose of locating cable routes, cable faults, and joints. At the heart of the AFP lies a 3D space coil with three coils positioned along the x, y, and z axes, ensuring real-time display of signals on the Control Unit. This results in an all-in-one system with diverse application possibilities. The Control Unit provides visualization of tracing data, with 3D-History Track preserving fault and joint locations. Additionally, users benefit from pre-set frequencies and a frequency search function, providing maximum support. The entire frequency range of the audio frequency probe can be displayed in either unfiltered or filtered form, making the Audio Frequency Set a wise investment.

The TG 20/50 Audio Frequency Transmitter

The TG 20/50 Audio Frequency Transmitter is a portable, mains or battery operated audio frequency transmitter that is used in conjunction with the Protrac Pinpointing System and the AFP Audio Frequency Probe, which helps with tracing and pin-pointing using the twist method and the minimum distortion method. Offering automatic and manual impedance adjustment, and two output frequencies that can be selected, the TG 20/50 enhances the set.
