BAUR Protrac Step Voltage Set - Cable Sheath Fault Locator

The BAUR Step Voltage Set - Cable Sheath Fault Locator is a cable and sheath fault locator, which has been designed to accurately and rapidly utilise step voltage to locate sheath faults, and those caused by earth contact. The set contains a CU Control Unit, as well as two SVP probes and two SVP cables. It has been designed to be used in conjunction with the Baur Shirla.

The Protrac is able to indicate the history of the fault, and displays the previously measured values for the fault. It is also able to automatically set measurement parameters based on environmental conditions, and will also automatically calculate and display the distances to and from the fault.

The BAUR Protrac Step Voltage Set - Cable Sheath Fault Locator can also be used with the 'BAUR Fault Location App' (not included in this purchase), which allows for increased efficiency, thanks to cable route data from GIS databases in the BAUR cable fault location system, geographic information, and pre-located fault positioning on the map.
