Castle Fire Alarm Testing Kit

The Castle Fire Alarm Testing Kit is a handy and cost-effective solution to testing fire alarms throughout a premises to BS5839 standard. It features a user-friendly Castle GA216B SONUS Sound Level Meter which measures sound from 35dB to 140dB. It has three separate 65dB linear operating ranges (35dB to 100dB; 55dB to 120dB; 75dB to 140dB) and can pick up noise between 20Hz and 8kHz in frequency. This allows it to test fire alarm systems in addition to performing initial checks on the necessity of risk assessments.

A Castle GA601 sound level calibrator is included within the kit. By producing a single 94dB, 1kHz tone within its half-inch cavity, the calibrator allows the user to check the measurement of the SONUS meter at an important point in its range, thus ensuring accuracy during assessments. An attaché case is included to store the meter and calibrator together in a single handy package.
