Castle GA116B Class 1 SONUS Digital Sound Pressure Level Meter

The Castle GA116B Class 1 SONUS Digital Sound Pressure Level Meter is a pocket-sized sound level meter that can measure sound pressure from 35dB to 140dB using three different measurement ranges. It has Class I accuracy - thus making it compliant with IEC 61672-1:2002 - and gives readings to a precision of 0.1dB.

Simultaneous readings for sound pressure (Lp), maximum sound pressure (Lmax) and peak (Cpeak) allow the user to perform various duties including fire alarm testing and spot checking in accordance with the Noise at Work Regulations 1989. The user can toggle between A and C weighting and between fast and slow responses in addition to choosing between one of so the Castle GA116B is very versatile as an instrument.

The Castle GA116B has a backlit digital display that shows all readings plus elapsed time, overload and battery level. The hard ABS casing can withstand the rigours of the majority of industrial environments and the battery lasts for roughly 12 hours. Intuitive push button operation makes the meter very easy to use.
