Castle KD1006 HARM Triaxial Accelerometer

The Castle KD1006 HARM Triaxial Accelerometer allows vibration meters to measure acceleration over three different planes (X, Y, and Z axes) which is ideal for assessing hand arm vibration (HARM) caused by handling power tools. HARM can result in debilitating conditions such as vibration white finger and proper assessment is vital for avoiding ill health amongst employees as well as for complying with the Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.

The Castle KD1006 should be attached to the handle of a vibrating handheld instrument where it can relay HARM acceleration measurements (10mV/g) back to the meter from 0g to ±500g. The frequency range is 2Hz to 5000Hz (±10%) and the accelerometer is principally designed for use with the Castle Excieo vibration Meter range.
