Chauvin Arnoux CA6030 RCD Tester

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6030 RCD Tester is an advanced RCD tester that offers a range of useful functions alongside standard RCD testing functions. It can perform RCD tests on standard, selective, A and AC RCDs by using one of five pre-set milliamp currents (10, 30, 100, 300 or 500mA) or a user-adjustable test current between 6 and 650mA.

Automatic voltage and frequency testing of installations adds greater detail to tests whilst a safe, reliable connection is facilitated by switchable L and N inputs. Non-trip RCD tests and trip time tests are also possible with the Chauvin Arnoux CA6030 and earth loop and 1P earth measurements are another important aspect of the instrument.

It is also possible to use an optional current clamp to measure current and leakage current whilst both two-wire and three-wire phase rotation indications can be displayed on screen.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6030 has helpful warning alarms which can be customised by the user as well as providing time- and date-stamped printouts of results. Data transfer software for PCs is provided as standard. Results are shown on the clear, backlit display and practicality is aided by a ‘hands-free’ bag with a comfortable neck strap as well as a simple dial interface.

Cat III 600V safety certification and an IP54 dust-proof rating ensure that the Chauvin Arnoux CA6030 is safe to use in a range of environments. The tester comes supplied with a mains lead, a three-wire lead, a three test probes, three crocodile clips and a data transfer cable.
