The Chauvin Arnoux CA6513 Analogue Insulation Tester is a handy analogue megohmmeter with an insulation resistance measurement range of 0 to 1000MΩ and test voltages of either 500V or 1000V. Further functions include AC voltage measurement up to 600V and continuity testing. Readings are extremely reliable with this tester thanks to an accuracy of just 5% for resistance and 3% for voltage. The AC voltage measurement is particularly useful in terms of safety because it automatically detects voltage presence when the instrument is connected for insulation testing.

Operation is very simple thanks to a simple dial and automatic voltage absence testing when leads are connected to the two clearly labelled terminals. The Chauvin Arnoux CA6513’s analogue display shows readings dynamically over a logarithmic scale and is extremely clear.
