The Chauvin Arnoux CA771 Voltage Absence Tester is an excellent, safety-critical device that goes above and beyond the minimum standards required by European law. It can be used for testing for voltage and RCD testing in addition to extended continuity and resistance testing. A buzzer will sound should resistance fail to reach set limits (2kΩ, 6kΩ, 300kΩ). Other functions include single pole phase testing and two-wire phase rotation whilst the redundant hazardous voltage indication (Extra-Low Voltage) safety feature allows the user to see the presence of voltage via a flashing LED. Furthermore, stray voltage function (low impedance mode) can be switched on by pressing two buttons at the same time.
