Chauvin Arnoux F201 True RMS Clamp Meter

The Chauvin Arnoux F201 True RMS Clamp Meter is a basic clamp meter that nevertheless provides accurate measurements for the professional electrician. With measurement for AC voltage up to 1000V, DC voltage up to 1400V, and AC current up to 600A, it is suitable for testing on most standard mains-connected circuits. Additional functions include temperature measurement, frequency measurement, resistance measurement, continuity testing and diode testing. True Inrush current measurement captures current spikes during start-up phases of single motors and multiple machines whilst True RMS guarantees accuracy on non-linear wave forms.

Operating the Chauvin Arnoux F201 is simple thanks to its straightforward dial and easy button operation. The ergonomic form is designed to be used with just one gloved hand and the dial even has a moulded shape to make it easy to grip. Clamping diameter is 34mm and it weighs just 300g so it is compact enough to use in awkward or tight spaces such as switch cabinets. Results are shown on the LCD screen and min/max recording provides greater depth. Data hold freezes values on screen and an audible buzzer provides feedback during continuity testing.

The Chauvin Arnoux F201 is safety rated to 600V for Cat IV and its IP54 ingress protection rating ensures that it is resistant to dust. The instrument has been drop tested to 2m and also boasts a three-year warranty so the user can have confidence in his/her purchase. Supplied accessories include a thermocouple, test leads, test probes, and a case.
