Cirrus Research CR201 SoundSign Noise Warning Sign

The Cirrus Research CR201 SoundSign Noise Warning Sign is a noise activate warning sign alerting the workplace if noise levels in indoor spaces exceed preset levels. The SoundSign is the perfect tool to keep the workforce safe from any danger of excessive noise exposure. Trigger levels from 40dB (A) to 114dB(A) with high intensity white LED technology to show visually both text and graphical warnings.

The SoundSign is available in four different designs to ensure the correct PPE is worn upon entry to certain areas. Please select the required sign from the drop down menu above:

  • Hearing Protection Must Be Worn
  • Warning: High Noise Levels
  • Caution: High Sound Levels
  • Shhh! Quiet Zone

With visual alerts in loud places, the CR201 alerts employees if PPE such as hearing protection should be used and alert them to high noise levels. The CR201 is suitable for use is quiet zones including schools, liberties and hospitals. The CR201 can be with multiple units that allow for larger areas to be covered using Cirrus Research Remote units and Master system where up to three remote SoundSigns are connected to a single master unit showing the alert message at the user defined noise levels.

The CR201 can also be connected to the Cirrus Research xenon beacon that provides further visual alerts when noise levels exceed the preset level. If data logging is required the the CR201 SoundSign can be upgraded quickly and easily by adding the USB data logger. By plugging the USB data logger into the SoundSign, noise levels can be recorded for as long as they are connected. The data logger can be programmed to start recording at specific times or time lengths that allow for full shifts to be recorded. Data measured can be download to a PC and viewed and analysed.
