Cirrus Research CR308 Sound Level Meter

The Cirrus Research CR308 Sound Level Meter is a simple to use class 2 decibel meter that allows for simple noise measurements to be undertaken that meet IEC 61672-1:2013 Class 2). Users are able to measure sound pressure levels (SPL) and the maximum sound level (LMax) allowing for noise level testing, alarm testing and spot checks to be conducted as well as other noise level testing applications.

The CR308 includes a user adjustable noise level threshold alarm should noise levels exceed the set level with users a visual alerting the user of the display.

The CR308 has a measurement range of 30dB to 130dB for A frequency weightings and 40dB to 130dB for C frequency ratings thanks to the ½˝ pre-polarised electret condenser type HY:205 microphone. The backlit LCD display offers normal, maximum, minimum and C peak display functions. The noise floor provides < 25dB (A) and 35dB (C) Display Flags Threshold Limit, Overload, Under-range measurements with an auto calibration range of ±4.5dB. The CR308 boasts a 24 hour battery life powered by two AA/LR6 1.5V batteries or can be powered by a 5V DC mini USB
