The Cirrus Research CR308 Sound Level Meter Kit provides users with a decibel meter, acoustic calibrator and kit case to make a complete noise measurement kit. The simple to use CR308 Decibel meter allows for simple noise measurement information to be collected when completing noise level testing applications such as routine testing of noise levels, machinery maintenance and testing, noise ordnance surveys, fire alarm testing thank to the meter meeting industry standards including IEC 61672-1:2013 Class 2.

The CR308 allows for the measurement of sound pressure level (SAPL) and maximum sound level LMax) as well as both A and C frequency weighing. The CR308 boasts an adjustable noise level threshold alarm that will show visual alerts should noise levels exceed the set level.
The CR308 has a measurement range of 30dB to 130dB for A frequency weightings and 40dB to 130dB for C frequency ratings thanks to the ½˝ pre-polarised electret condenser type HY:205 microphone. The backlit LCD display offers normal, maximum, minimum and C peak display functions. The noise floor provides < 25dB (A) and 35dB (C) Display Flags Threshold Limit, Overload, Under-range measurements with an auto calibration range of ±4.5dB.
The CR308 kit allows for the users to use the included acoustic calibrator to check the meters calibration to ensure the meter meets the required industry standards.
