Crowcon Gasman Gas Monitor

The Crowcon Gasman Gas Monitor is a rugged, compact and lightweight device, designed for use within tough working environments such as industrial gas detection in oil and gas, chemical plants (with exotic gases), steel works (special CO sensor), hospitality (CO2), renewable energy (hydrogen) and waste and water works. Extremely durable and rugged in design despite weighing a maximum of 130g, the Crowcon Gasman offers impact resistance and protection from IP65 dust and water protection. The Crowcon Gasman is ATEX, IECEx and CSA approved allowing for use in hazardous environments. Available with a rechargeable battery for all gas types or non rechargeable versions, please select the checkbox if a battery charger is required.

Users of the Gasman are protected by an audible 95dB alarm, red and blue visual warnings via the LED lights and vibrations alerting the user to should gas levels reach dangerous levels. Normal display will show real time gas concentration levels and a recall showing peak readings and Time Waited Average (TWA) where the Gasman will continue to monitor gas levels even after a mid shift break or change of shift. The Gasman sensors are fully interchangeable intelligent sensor modules.

The Gasman is available in various versions for flammable gas, CO2, oxygen and toxic gases allowing for the Gasman to detect the gas tailored to the users requirements. Available as a rechargeable device for all gas types or non rechargeable device so suitable for oxygen and toxic gases. For the rechargeable units with MPS, the battery life can last up to 72 hours. For the non- rechargeable devices (ideal for oxygen and toxic gases) the battery life lasts up to two years.

The Gasman allows for data-logging with an adjustable sample rate set to one minute data rate as default. The Gasman allows for up to 900 hours of storage at 1 minute intervals (54,000 logs) and up to 4800 events.

The custom LCD with backlight design shows the gas concentration on screen with graphic symbols for the battery life and display mode shown. Upon start up, the Gasman will indicate if calibration is due within 30 days, calibration overdue or if service is required. For the oxygen Long life model the sensor has a 5 year sensor warranty from Crowcon, with the the long life sensor, users are ahead of regulations for RoHS compliance.

Crowcon Connect

The Gasman is compatible with Crowcon Connect which is a safety software that works on with new or existing Crowcon portable detectors offering bespoke solutions for any customers wherever they are in the world. Using Crowcon Connect, customisable reports and dashboards can be generate. Asset management and safety reports can be created across multiple sites.
