The Crowcon T4x Personal Multi-gas Monitor is a Zone 0 approved personal protection device that can be used to detect the four most common gas hazards Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Flammable Gases (MPS) and Oxygen Depletion (O2). The T4x has different sensor types including:

• MPS: Molecular property spectrometer sensor technology detects and accurately identifies over 15 different flammable gases in one device
• Dual toxic: Using a three year life dual toxic sensor (CO and H2S), users gain the the same performance of individual sensors in one device
• Long Life Oxygen: Long life oxygen sensor boasting a five year warranty and RoHS lead free compliant delivering safety and environmental regulation.

The T4x ensures compliance across site by eliminating then need for calibration for flammable gases the the device will accurately detect more than 15 flammable gases in any mix at once while being type 1. Also poison resistant and with a battery life up to 35 hours, users will be able to use the T4x for long periods/shifts before needing to recharge. The T4x features the TWA resume function from Crowcon, offering unique protection from toxic gas exposure as the T4x will accurately calculate exposure over an entire shift even if the the device is switched off for a break or travelling to a different site. The large backlit display provides clear data with the option to flip the screen 180º when being worn on clothing.

The rugged design and thick anti-shock rubber casing and being drop tested to 4m, the T4x can be operated even in demanding environments. Further protection iOS boosted by the IP65 and IP67 water and dust protections.

The T4x has a dedicated sensor for every gas ensuring quick and accurate detection. User safety is at the forefront of the design of the T4x, with a simple traffic light indicator providing s t a glance visual assurance of operational and compliance status to the user. The T4x also boasts multiple alarms to alert the user to gas levels; an audible 95dB alarm, bright red/ blue LEDs and vibrating alerts. The T4x is also ATEX Type 1 (Zone 0) approved and UL Class 1 Division 1 providing user s a safe device to operate with even in hazardous and demanding work environments.

The T4x is a simple and easy to use device thanks to the single button operation and the intuitive menu system meaning minimal training is required with the device being simple to use even if gloves are worn by the operator.
